A few items regarding the construction of the new swimming pool at Gremio Nautico Uniao
- Tecnologia das piscinas - A piscina 25,00 x 25,00 terá uma profundidade de 2,00 m possibilitando ao União sediar competições internacionais e campeonatos mundiais. Serão construidos 6 visores que permitem o acompanhamento dos atletas durantes os treinos melhorando a performance. Borda infinita para que a agua não volte, sendo assim não existe a formação de ondas prejudiciais. Revestimento Gail, tecnologia alemã, utilizado nas melhores piscinas do mundo.
- Swimming pool technology – The 25 x 25 m swimming pool will have a depth of 2.00m for the possibility of União to hold international competitions and world championships. 6 viewfinders will be constructed to help trainers observe the performance of the athletes under water.
An infinite border is used to prevent backflow of water. This is to eliminate waves that will affect the swimmers. Gail tiles of German technology utilised the best swimming pools in the world will also be used.
- Construção do Estacionamento - A obra que está sendo feita no G.N.União é uma das maiores obras de escavação já feitas em Porto Alegre. Foi utilizado o sistema de Paredes-Cortina, onde lamelas (laminas) de concreto são executadas no perimetro da obra, para posterior retirada da terra dentro do terreno. Ao mesmo tempo que a terra vai sendo retirada, são executados tirantes que ajudam na sustentação destas paredes enquanto a estrutura interna ( lajes, pilares, vigas) não é construida. O estacionamento tem um projeto semelhante ao do Hospital Moinhos, onde se estaciona na própria rampa, sendo desnecessária a construção de grandes rampas como a dos shppings. Poupa-se espaço e recursos. Muito interessante no projeto é que as rampas do estacionamento estão localizadas de acordo com as piscinas, pois o fundo da piscina lago é variavel (vai de 0,40 até 1,35) e da piscina semi-olimpica é 2,00 e portanto, ao se descer pelas rampas, foi feito um calculo para que a parte mais baixa esteja no fundo da piscina semiolimpica e a mais alta na parte rasa da piscina lago.
Car Park construction - The site in G.N.União is currently the biggest excavation site in Porto Alegre. It was utilising the retaining wall system. Concrete panels are constructed around the perimeter of the site and to remove the earth within the perimeter. When the earth is being removed, steel cables are installed to provide temporary support to the retaining walls before internal structures are completed. The car park is similar to the one in Hospital Moinhos because cars can be parked along the ramps. It is unnecessary to construct steep ramps like those in shopping centres. This is to take advantage of the space of the ramps and save resources. What is interesting about the project is that the ramps of the car park descend according to the locations of the swimming pools. The depth of the recreational swimming pool varies between 0.4 and 1.35m and the semi Olympic swimming pool, 2m. The descent of the ramps is from the recreational pool with the lower depth, until the semi Olympic swimming pool with the greater depth.
Piscina lago - A piscina lago terá 3 profundidades e um espelho dágua onde se pode colocar as cadeiras e ficar dentro dágua, apenas molhando os pés. E terá um toboágua para os pequenos.
Recreational swimming pool – The recreational swimming pool will have 3 depths and one reflecting pool for the location of chairs in the water for the cooling of the feet. There will also be a water slide for the kids.
Sala da coordenação - Será construída uma sala da coordenação para as competições, sala que está estratégicamente posicionada entre as duas piscinas, possibilitando uma visão de todo o complexo. Será construida com telhado verde, conforme princípios de sustentabilidade.
Coordination room – A coordination room will be constructed for the competitions and is located at a strategic position between the two swimming pools to permit the visibility of the whole complex. It will be constructed with a green roof to conform to sustainable principles.
